Where will the Micro Hydro be located?

The project is planned to be developed along Tank Creek, on the North face

of Montana Mountain, on the Traditional Territory of C/TFN.

What is it about?

Financially supported by Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada’s (CIRNAC) Northern REACHE program. This study will revisit previous studies to update the technology options and cost estimates for a year-round micro-hydro facility that will increase energy self-sufficiency in Carcross.
